Organic Waste Management
atiyah will provide compost bins to divert all the organic waste and compostable packaging from both the kitchen and the event itself from landfill. This waste will be processed into nutrient-rich compost in less than 12 weeks through Compost Connect.
atiyah has taken great care to assess and quantify the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of the meals and drinks across their life, through an industry best practice life-cycle assessment. atiyah has gone the extra mile, quantifying what “business as usual” in the industry would look like, to calculate the emissions savings from every meal and drink. By choosing to eat with us our customers are replacing more emission intensive meal and drinks options and are therefore reducing their personal footprint.
Integrated smart technology and cloud-based monitoring enables atiyah to achieve our commitment to sustainability and zero carbon emissions. Our Eco Smart Off-Grid solution is a standalone, 100% biodiesel (waste cooking oil) fuel sourced generator powering the cooking.
